The Teachings of Akong Rinpoche & Chogyam Trungpa

Facilitator: Andrew Bank

Mon: 7pm - 8pm Duration Jan - Jun 2018  (2nd term starting 16 April until 8 Jun for 10 weeks)

This course looks at the lives and especially the teachings of two remarkable Tibetan masters of the Karma Kagyu Lineage, Akong Rinpoche and Chogyam Trungpa. These include an exploration of the ways in which our concepts of Self limit our potential for freedom and compassionate action; an opening to our fundamental connection with other sentient beings; an appreciation of the importance of maintaining balance in our daily lives; a recognition that working on wisdom-compassion from within is the most skillful means of being of service to other sentient beings.
