Learn to Meditate
Learn to meditate – join our weekly meditation classes in Cape Town.
In 2004 Thrangu Rinpoche asked Drupon Rinpoche to return to Nepal and become Retreat Master of the traditional three year, three months’ retreat at the site of Milarepa’s cave, known as Nyi Shang Ka Te Puk. During that time Drupon Rinpoche was also Khenpo of Thrangu Nunnery and continued to make annual visits to numerous Centres of various traditions in Taiwan and Malaysia.
The world today is full of uncertainty, hopelessness, fear and sorrow. Sorrow is both an outward and inner experience and its source lies in the depths of the human heart.
The heart of our retreat will be meditation as taught in the Mahamudra tradition but we will address our human problems placed in the wider context of meditation as a way of life. Inquire if it’s possible to live our lives from a source beyond the spring’s of sorrow.
